In today’s competitive business climate, networking with other professionals is now more important than ever.

The Augusta GreenJackets baseball club is hosting an event called the SRP Park Networking Night 2021 on Tuesday, Aug. 24 at the Budweiser Bar and Lounge (see photo above) on the left field line next to the red Budweiser banners starting at 6 p.m. It will be held as part of the team’s game against the Charleston RiverDogs, which begins at 7:05 p.m. Members of Local Business Network International Chapters, the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce, the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce, and the Aiken Chamber of Commerce will attend the event. Participants can also stay to watch the game.

Andy Passmore, area director of BNI, says this event will provide an excellent opportunity to build and develop business relationships. “Anytime you get an opportunity to interact with local business leaders, you should seize it,” says Passmore, vice president of mortgage lending for Security Federal Bank. “Meeting business leaders in this environment is much less stuffy, and people are open to meeting new people,” he explains. Due to COVID-19, many networking events have either been canceled or held virtually. “With what has happened over the last year and a half, people are more eager to get out and attend these types of events,” Passmore states.
Tickets are $9 each and includes a ticket to the game, and the event is open to everyone. To purchase tickets, visit https://fevo.me/3yf31kZ or call 803-349-9411.
