The men and women on the front line in the fight against hackers have spent the week in Augusta. They have been participating in the Annual Cyber Dawg training exercise at the Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center. This is the fifth year the center has hosted the weeklong event. Cyber Center welcomes students for unique event

About 100 high school students from Georgia and South Carolina participated in the inaugural Cyber STEMfest at the Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center. Students from nine high schools, including Lincoln County, Davidson, and North Augusta, along with a few home-schooled students, attended the Sept. 13 event. Augusta Tech dean outlines future of student cybersecurity center

The woman who brought the first student-operated cybersecurity center to Augusta Technical College sees a long future for the facility. A security center unlike any other is up and running with students from Augusta Technical College. The student-operated Security Operations Center has opened at the Georgia Cyber Innovations and Training Center on the Augusta Tech campus.
