Chamber leader calls for more business support for local charity

Golden Harvest Food Bank held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the agency’s newly renovated and expanded Volunteer and Administration Center on Aug. 29. Trying to raise $2.5 million in 13 weeks. That was the ambitious goal announced Friday for the United Way of the CSRA’s 2023 campaign. Each year, the Augusta GreenJackets partner with a local non-profit organization to collect school supplies for less fortunate students throughout the CSRA.
