Marcella’s Cigars is out and Postal Annex (see above left) is in. The old adage seems to be “you snooze, you lose” is fitting with the rate of speed in which vacancies are being turned into new tenants at either the Riverwood Plantation Shopping Center, owned by Echo Realty/leased by Jordan Trotter Commercial Real Estate (the part connected to Publix).
“We have Swank going into the former Madison’s Closet space and Vampire Penguin (ice cream/dessert shop) which is going into the (former White House) dry cleaner space,” said DJ Snead, leasing agent for Jordan Trotter.
ABD did a walking tour of the development. We learned that all 22 spaces are either occupied or have leases signed between the Riverwood Plantation Center and the Market at Riverwood, which is owned and leased by Meybohm Commercial Real Estate.
That part of the center starts at Papa John’s Pizza and is leased all the way to the other side of the “L” shaped strip, where AR Workshop occupies the end cap unit.
Once Shelvie Jean’s boutique vacated the center, Meybohm lined up a wellness center, “Body Contouring”. “Crystal Reynolds and her team are excited to offer nonsurgical options to get rid of stubborn body fat and help everyone achieve their goal body,” said Jordan Collier, leasing agent for Meybohm Commercial Real Estate.
A flavored ice dessert shop and Yosko’s Japanese Restaurant are also going to be moving into the center in 2021.
It also appears that all of the parcels are developed an/or leased outside of the brick and mortar strips, with the 22 tenants.
Continuing from the Rooted Coffeehouse and AR Workshop, outparcel tenants include Mi Rancho, Anytime Fitness, Starbucks, CVS, McDonalds, Riverwood Dental and Security Federal Bank, with one more parcel still to be developed.
There’s little to no room at the Inn in front of the Riverwood Subdivision, located at the intersection of William Few Parkway and Washington Road in Evans.
