The North Augusta Chamber of Commerce has a unique event coming up on August 15. It kicks off at 4:30 pm with Speed Networking. What is that? It’s like speed dating, but without the dating. Attendees will be able to meet a lot of people in a short amount of time.
How it works: Attendees will have the chance to connect with 20 professionals in an hour! Every two minutes, you will be introduced to a fellow Chamber member and share your name, business, elevator pitch, target audience, and preferred referral. Once time is up, you will swap business cards and repeat the process with a new prospect.
The next way to connect will be through Pop-Up Shops. From 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, vendors will have a chance to interact directly with customers showcasing your products and brand.
A pop-up shop is a temporary in-person retail activation. The Chamber’s goal is to help businesses create an effective strategy for engaging with potential and existing customers in real life while boosting sales at the same time.
This Speed Networking event is free to Chamber members. Advanced registration is required. The Pop-Up Shop booths are $50 for Chamber members and $100 for visitors. Both events will be held at the North Augusta Chamber Community Center at 495 Brookside Avenue.
