Workforce development strategies to highlight Chamber luncheon

The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce will host its Executive Luncheon Series, on Wednesday, August 7, at Savannah Rapids Pavilion from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Networking and lunch will begin at 11:00 a.m. and the program will start at noon.

The speaker will be Donny Jones, Executive Vice President and Chief Workforce Officer of the West Alabama Chamber of Commerce. The highlight will be a discussion on how they are reimagining workforce development.

Jones leads all workforce development efforts of the Chamber, serving as Executive Director of the Region 3 Workforce Development Council/West Alabama Works. He is involved with various strategic initiatives of the Chamber and works directly with the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Finance Committee, and West Alabama Chamber Foundation.

Tickets are available online at columbiacountychamber.com or by calling 706-651-0018. Members can purchase a ticket for $40, while non-members can reserve a seat for $50. A table of 8 can be purchased for $400.
