Golfers teach golf and life skills before Masters

Last week, six Augusta National Women’s Amateur Players and a few golf legends spent an afternoon helping more than 25 young golfers from the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Augusta (BGCGA). The third annual Bank of America Play It Forward clinic was held at First Tee, a place students have learned since the 2021 Masters, when it was built to teach life skills and the game of golf. Union Lofts Apartments debuts in Downtown Augusta

Union Lofts Apartments held a ribbon cutting on April 2 at 513 James Brown Boulevard to celebrate the arrival of new living spaces in Downtown Augusta. The event was free and open to the public. The three buildings, located at 501, 509, and 513 James Brown Boulevard, were constructed in the 1890’s. Having been vacant for almost five decades, they were nearing being demolished.
