Good news from the Augusta Regional Airport if your business plans take you to Texas.
The return of a second daily American Airlines flight to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) has been added. The new service will begin on October 7, 2025, and will operate daily.
The additional flight will depart AGS at 7:07 a.m., making it one of the first departures of the day. This early-morning option will complement the existing 4:30 p.m. DFW service, giving travelers more flexibility and connectivity. Both flights will be operated on CRJ-900 aircraft, which include first-class seating.
“With the addition of this second DFW flight, Augusta travelers will now enjoy approximately 150 direct daily seats between AGS and DFW,” said Herbert L. Judon, Jr., Airport Executive Director. “We are extremely grateful to American Airlines for this expanded service. DFW has consistently performed well out of AGS, and this new early-morning option provides our customers greater access, particularly those needing westward connections or early-morning arrivals in the Dallas metroplex. We have been hearing this need from our customers for some time, and we are pleased to see it come to fruition.”
