The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce will host its upcoming Member Economic Luncheon, “Data Centers: Regional Opportunity & Growth,” on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center.
The luncheon will feature a panel discussion with industry and policy leaders focused on the growing role of data centers in Georgia and the opportunities they create for Augusta and the surrounding region. Attendees will gain insight into the evolving data center landscape, infrastructure needs, workforce considerations, energy demands, and the long-term economic impact these facilities can have on local communities.
Panelists for the luncheon include Jeff Greene, Senior Manager of Economic Development with QTS Data Centers; Khara Boender, Director of State Policy with the Data Center Coalition; and Kerry Bridges, P.E., Region Executive with Georgia Power.
