Blue Ribbon Businessperson Of The Month

Blue Ribbon Businessperson Of The Month

ABD is proud to work with Jack and Andrea Highsmith the owners at Blue Ribbon Awards and Gifts. Each month, we’ll select a businessperson of the month. Please email neil@augustabusinessdaily.com to nominate your boss or a deserving businessowner. The recipient will receive a highly-promoted feature article in ABD and a special keepsake award from Blue Ribbon.

At Blue Ribbon, they are all about helping you “look good” as a business owner, administrator, coordinator, coach or teacher. They specialize in recognition. BR’s team helps organizations solve the problem of “How do I recognize achievement and good performance of my people?” The company offers custom awards, branded apparel and personalized gifts. It’s done through state-of-the-art laser machines, embroidery machines, high tech DTF apparel printers and sand etching equipment.
Blue Ribbon purchased the Cudos award business 8 years ago and Hometown Sports 4 years ago. They’ve grown from three employees to fifteen. “Our growth has come mainly through word of mouth and working hard to “make it right”. That is, making it right the first time and on time – we just try to do what we say we’re going to do,” said co-owner Jack Highsmith.
Jack and his wife Andrea are both graduates of Hephzibah HS and Augusta College. Andrea has a double major in Psychology and History and Jack has a BBA. The Highsmiths have four children and live in Lincoln County.
Please stop into their showroom in the Kroger shopping center on Columbia Road in Martinez or visit their website at www.blueribbonusa.com
