Xfinity and beyond for Comcast! Comcast and its team of support staff from Atlanta opened its newest Xfinity store location in South Augusta.
The store opened in a shopping center on 2115 Windsor Spring Road yesterday morning with many giveaways, music, and refreshments.
Following the ceremony Comcast’s employee volunteer program led a letter-writing campaign to active military and veterans in appreciation for their service.
Later in the day, Comcast visited the “Hub” on Chafee Avenue and surprised the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Augusta with 75 free laptops and a $35,000 donation. It’s in place to continue Comcast’s digital literacy efforts.
