Deadline nearing for Meta’s community grants

Aiken County is one of more than 20 U.S. locations eligible to apply for a community action grant from Meta. That is because the county will be home to one of the technology giant’s data centers. Sewell Demolition confirms to ABD that it is when they’ll begin tearing down the 15,200 square foot Walgreen’s building. An expanding retailer will be building on the property. Multimillion-dollar projects announced in South Carolina

Two recently announced economic development projects will mean a combined $333.7 million investment and create 225 new jobs for two counties. In Bamberg County, Circular Composite Solutions (CCS) has committed $53.7 million to a facility that will create recycled wood and plastic pallet components, creating 70 jobs.
