Local financial advisors, Jason Crane and Gerry Owen, owners and operators of Crane & Owen Financial Solutions in Aiken, have relocated their practice from Edward Jones to Ameriprise Financial. Together, they manage nearly $150 million in combined client assets.
Crane and Owen began exploring options for moving their business two years ago and selected Ameriprise for several reasons, including its brand recognition, reputation, and technological resources.

Owen said the move will allow him to devote more time to his clients.

Founded in Minneapolis in 1894 by John Tappan, Ameriprise Financial manages more than $1.2 trillion in assets for its more than 2 million clients worldwide, according to the company’s website. Crane and Owen have now joined a network of about 10,000 financial advisors.
