Tonight, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy will lead two four-man teams in an inaugural live event from Florida.
Augusta’s own E-Z GO will be shuttling all the pros to each part of the skills competition.
Some of the world’s top golfers will use customized E-Z-GO Freedom RXV® ELiTE golf cars during the competition.
The challenges include the Timed Drive and Short Game Competitions, the 14-Club Challenge in which players will go through the bag – including driver and putter – in a closest-to-the-pin contest from the fairway, the Team Relay where teams alternate shots to complete a hole in the shortest amount of time, ever-before-seen timed and strategy-focused challenges under the pressure of the clock and the primetime lights.
The inaugural Optum Golf Channel Games will air live at 7 p.m. EST on Golf Channel and USA Network.
“It’s an honor to be part of the inaugural Optum Golf Channel Games, and to have E-Z-GO vehicles be a prominent part of this creative and exciting competition,” said Adam Harris, Vice President and General Manager, E-Z-GO. “We’re looking forward to seeing our vehicles out on the course as the world’s top golfers go head-to-head to pull off shots that most of us can only dream of making.”
