Good Deeds: Wheels Up

For the fifth consecutive Masters tournament, the Wheels Up team flew into Augusta to help the Golden Harvest Food Bank, before flying in golf fans to visit the Augusta National Golf Course.

Last Wednesday, Wheels Up joined the food bank in service at The Master’s Table soup kitchen and also volunteered at the Food Bank’s new Produce Rescue Center, packing and sorting produce.

Meals Up was created during the COVID-19 pandemic to address food insecurity, and the company will be donating meals again this year to support the local community as they host members for The Masters.

Wheels Up says it also purchased meals for the National organization Feeding America.

According to a news release, Golden Harvest Food Bank provides food assistance in 24 counties in Georgia and South Carolina, covering over 10,000 square miles, and provides more than 14 million meals each year to those in need.

Wheels Up offers a complete global aviation solution that allows customers to access charter and membership programs, as well as unique commercial travel benefits through a strategic partnership with Delta Air Lines.
