People who have an arrest record and/or have been incarcerated in the CSRA are climbing a mountain to employment.
A local non-profit is hosting a hiring huddle brunch tomorrow morning at the Golden Harvest Food Bank.
Business owners and HR professionals are invited to meet with ReNforce, a local nonprofit that provides training and coaching to businesses looking to hire justice-impacted people to meet their workforce needs. “At ReNforce, we recognize the complex challenges that justice-involved individuals face, and our approach is as comprehensive as it is compassionate. We are committed to providing holistic support that addresses these unique needs,” said ReNforce Executive Director and Founder, Charlotte Garnes, in a previous news release.
This brunch and learn session will explore the power of inclusive hiring and its impact on the community and help those in attendance learn how to rewrite the script to create a more equitable workforce in the CSRA and across the state.
The event is from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at the GHFB (2nd Fl.), 3310 Commerce Dr, Augusta, 30909
