Two area contractors will be turning the lights on at a new office park with warehouse space in Evans. It’s part of a trend ABD found offering up more space for rent to meet the needs of growing companies.
Clark Develops, LLC will be the general contractor/owner of FlexSpace of Evans, and Newsome Electrical Construction LLC (NEC) will handle the electrical work from pre- to post-construction.
The land is located at 4542 Washington Road in Evans between the back of the Bojangles Restaurant and the Eagle Pointe Shopping Center. That center features Toki Restaurant and other tenants.
Once complete in early 2026, 20 high-end, modern, flexible, and adaptable mixed-use units, specifically designed for entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses, will be built.
According to a press release, each space will be equipped with a 360 sq. ft. climate-controlled office area, 1,440 sq. ft. of warehouse space, drive-up loading areas, and a host of amenities like 24/7 security, pest control, property insurance, and more. Short-term lease options will be offered.

That’s also the theme of several new business hubs and incubators that have welcomed entrepreneurs and small companies in the last few years, including FLX CONNECT at 110 Davis Road. Some packages include free beverages, use of the podcast studio, and meeting rooms.
Other options now include:
- Regus at 823 Broad Street, with an additional hub in Aiken
- Accelerator Augusta at 600 Broad Street
- Cyber Center in Downtown Augusta
