National Bundt cake company to celebrate 25th birthday with cake giveaway

A large dessert company with two CSRA locations is celebrating its 25th birthday by giving away cakes.

Nothing Bundt Cakes, which has stores in Evans and Aiken, will give free confetti-flavored bundlets, and miniature Bundt cakes, to the first 250 customers at all its locations on Thursday, Sept. 1, according to the local franchisee, Susan See. No purchase is required.

“We wanted to do something big to celebrate our birthday,” See said. “We love to celebrate anyone’s special occasion, and we want to celebrate ours with everybody.”

She and her husband, James, opened the Evans location at 4217 Washington Road, Suite 7 in July 2018 and the Aiken location at 161 South Aiken Lane, Suite 430 this past March.

Founded in 1997 in Las Vegas by friends, Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz, the company now has nearly 500 locations throughout the United States and Canada. Nothing Bundt Cakes sells cakes in a variety of sizes and flavors, including red velvet, lemon, and snickerdoodle.

“I’m really proud of my company,” See said. “I think it has a great story.”

The company is also holding a contest from Sept, 1 through Sept. 25. The grand prize winner will receive a $25,000 birthday party, which includes a professional party planner. One hundred runners-up will each receive $100 Nothing Bundt Cakes gift cards.

She said the cake giveaway will begin at 9 a.m. for the Evans and Aiken locations.
