The son of the deceased co-founder of InkBoy is going to take over the accounts as the 35-year-old company is closing down its store in West Augusta.
As ABD first reported on Friday, InkBoy’s lease is expiring, and owners are closing the brick-and-mortar side of the business.
The new company will be run by Ben Jordan’s son, Bryan, who worked for Ben and his co-founder, Tony Canell, for many years. Recently, a letter was sent out to InkBoy clients.
“As we transition from InkBoy to Toner Tech Plus, I want to recognize the legacy built by my father, Ben Jordan, and his longtime business partner Tony Canell. They have had the privilege of serving you with dedication and care. It is an honor for me to continue in their footsteps and carry forward the same commitment to service and reliability you’ve come to expect,” said Bryan Adams, Toner Tech Plus owner.
Adams tells ABD Toner Tech Plus will be a mobile business and focus on providing FREE delivery of toner and office supplies, while also working on commercial copier, printer, scanner, and plotter sales, service, and repairs. They’ll partner with a printing company for jobs they don’t handle.

InkBoy is wrapping up the business at their location on 138 Davis Road and is liquidating its store of remaining copiers, printers, ink cartridges, and office supplies.
InkBoy started the business behind Applebee’s on Washington Road in West Augusta and moved to the Martinez Walmart shopping center, and ended up at the Davis Road location.
