Ride-share services put on notice for Masters Week

Some new protocols are in place for Masters Week at the Augusta Regional Airport. Failure to comply can lead to vehicles getting towed.

According to a news release from the airport for Masters® 2025, all “for hire” or commercial ground transportation operators that enter the premise i.e., taxies, limousines, hotel/motel shuttle vehicles, hospitality pickup vehicles, etc. cannot park on the curbside and must utilize the public parking lots for staging vehicles and passenger pickup.

During the week of April 7th – 14th, the public parking rates will immediately transact at a minimum of $2.00 per entry (for the first hour). For safety purposes, parking outside of designated spaces or within prohibited areas will be strictly barred, and violator’s vehicles may be subject to tow.

As ABD first reported last week, American Airlines and Delta Airlines are offering a total of 14 direct flights to mostly larger market cities like:

  • New York
  • Boston
  • Miami
  • Chicago
  • Philadelphia
  • Phoenix

“This is an exhilarating time for the Airport, and we are grateful and excited for the additional air service, entertainment, and all the “buzz” associated with the Masters®. We are honored to be the gateway commercial service Airport for this world class event, and we encourage Airport patrons to enjoy and be safe during this time,” according to the news release.
