SRP Federal Credit Union has announced its 2023 winners of the Ed Templeton Scholarship and the Larry Pridemore Scholarship.
These scholarships were set up by the SRP’s Board of Directors and are awarded annually to a child of a full-time employee. The parents of the scholarship recipients this year are Shameika Carter, a branch assistant manager at the Williston location, and Tawanaca Williams, a community development representative.
The $2,500 Ed Templeton Scholarship, named in honor of SRP Federal Credit Union’s past president retired, was awarded to Kaitlyn Simmons. She is the daughter of Shameika Carter.
Kaitlyn graduated from Williston Elko High School. She is currently majoring in biology at Clemson University.
The $1,000 Larry Pridemore Scholarship, honoring retired board member Larry Pridemore, was presented to Brandie McIntosh. She is the daughter of Tawanaca Williams.
Brandie was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County. She attends Georgia State University where she is majoring in psychology.
