Women’s boutique to open in Augusta shopping center

A women’s boutique with about 20 locations scattered throughout the Southeast is bringing a new location to the Augusta Exchange shopping center, according to Meybohm Commercial Properties.

Lizard Thicket Boutique will be located at 253 Robert C. Daniel Jr. Parkway, Suite A. The company sells a variety of items, including clothing, shoes, jewelry, and accessories.

“We are expecting to open sometime in October, but we have had unexpected construction delays,” a company representative said.

Founded in 1981, Lizard Thicket has stores in eight states, including Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida. The company has several locations in Georgia, such as Columbus, Macon, and Peachtree City.
