131 Home Development Planned

Sometime in the next few days, developers for the new Highland Springs neighborhood will put a sign in the ground letting drivers along Pleasant Home Road know what is happening.

ABD has all of the key details.

The subdivision is between Davis Road and Washington Road on the 400 block of Pleasant Home Road, next to Lakemont Presbyterian Church and Place at Martinez, a local nursing home. There has been no new residential construction in the Pleasant Home corridor since the 1990’s.

Developers hope to pour slabs by the end of July.

“Our team spent countless hours determining exactly which floor plan and elevation would be placed on every lot to create a balanced, intentional streetscape. We also selected the exterior materials, color palettes, and architectural details for every homesite before construction begins to ensure the community has a distinctive character from day one”, said C. Scott Brantley, Chief Operating Officer for Winchester Homes.

This is the rendering of the Mt. Vernon elevation. The community will feature 59 detached single-family homes and 72 attached townhomes, with floor plans ranging from approximately 1,500 to just over 2,000 square feet. Pricing is expected to begin in the low- to mid-$300,000s. There will also be shared amenities for the community.

The developer will break ground in the next few weeks. To learn more about the pre-sale of a home, reach Property Partners, the real estate partner of Winchester Homes, at 864.372.9948.
