A pair of local companies helps to feed the hungry

In the last few months, a local bank and SRS contractor donated $40,000 to feed the hungry in the Augusta area. $30,000 from Savannah River Nuclear Solutions will provide 60,000 meals for children, seniors and families in need. Queensborough National Bank & Trust, which has multiple branches throughout the CSRA, presented a $10,000 check to Golden Harvest Food Bank.
