The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce presented ten young professionals who represent the next generation of leaders. The Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals to Watch began in 2009 to shine the light on a diverse group of individuals between ages 25 and age 35 who are leaders in their field and at their respective employers. Former restaurant franchisee launches new brand

The former operator of the Pot Smoker on Highway 25 in North Augusta will be offering up similar food under a new brand. Robert Whitfield announced on Facebook over the weekend that he’ll be starting with a Parker’s Brisket, Ribs, and More food truck with plans to open a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Wrens. Growing coffee company makes big donation; prepares for grand opening

7 Brew Coffee, which is preparing to replace Smith’s Chevron station on Walton Way ext. with one of its drive-through spots this fall— is also preparing for a busy Sunday on July 7th.
