A local printing and graphic design company has found a way to give back to the community and help CSRA businesses.
The Graphix Resource, Inc. has developed three holiday promotions. The company will provide 250 free business cards for businesses that have their own card design. Businesses without a design can buy 250 cards for $14, says Brad Kirkland, Graphix Resource’s Chief Executive Officer. Kirkland is also currently looking for local business owners interested in giving away $100 gift cards as a way to promote their businesses. In previous years, the third promotion was giving away $100 Starbucks gift cards, but this year, he decided to do something different. “We’re supporting local, not corporate,” Kirkland states.
So far, he has confirmed three businesses that will provide gift cards: Paws and Claws Pet Bakery, Paint and Sip Augusta, and The Graphix Resource, but several others have submitted requests to participate. Kirkland says he would like to hold the gift card giveaway on Friday, Dec. 31. “That way, we will start off the new year right,” he states. For businesses that don’t already have gift certificates, Graphix Resource will design them. While Kirkland isn’t sure about other participating businesses, “I have no problem giving away $100 cash from Graphix Resource,” he explains.
