Augusta IT company builds out to expand the local facility

Premier Networx, at 116 Cooper Drive just off River Watch Parkway, is expanding by building out an additional 2,500 square feet of its existing facility. The extra space will be used to build a dedicated network operations and security operations center, according to the company’s President and CEO, Chad Harpley.

“We were going to lease that out, but things have gone so great that we’re having to build that space out for us,” Harpley said.

He said the new center will house an additional 14 employees. Construction is expected to begin in late February and should be completed in April.

“We’re excited about expansion in 2023, and we’re now interviewing for those open positions,” Harpley said.

He said business has been much better than he and his team expected.

“We have eclipsed not only the company goals that we set for ourselves last year, but we reached our goal in July for what we planned to do in 2022,” Harpley said.

He said the primary reason for the increased business has been customer trust in Premier Networx, which has grown since moving into its current building in Feb. 2022. Harpley said the company has no sales representatives to promote its services.

“Our customers are our only reference, and our reputation is only as good as the last job we’ve done,” he said. “Everything is a word of mouth and organic growth.”

Founded in 2003, Premier Networx offers a variety of services, including security assessments, telephone systems, and cybersecurity.
