Thanks to clothing connections with Augusta National—the Salvation Army is set to outfit the community tomorrow for FREE at its’ five locations, including the Kroc Center.
Nine pallets and tens of thousands of pieces of golf apparel were donated late last week from an organization called Pros Fore Clothes.
AGNC volunteers spent hours unloading shirts, vests, pants, hats, and more, etc.
Four Salvation Army stores (listed below), including the Kroc Center in downtown Augusta and a new shop on the Riverwatch Parkway in Martinez, will be distributing the clothing to the community. It will all be given out for FREE!
This event is being held to help anyone affected by Hurricane Helene.
Major Jonathan Raymer, Area Commander for The Salvation Army of Augusta, said, “Our clothing voucher program works alongside our Family Stores and is available to ensure families have access to essential items when they need them most. We’re grateful for The Pros Fore Clothes Foundation’s support, which will make a lasting impact on many families in Augusta who are still recovering from Hurricane Helene.”
Lisa Railey, Executive Director of The Pros Fore Clothes Foundation, shared her thoughts on the partnership: “Our mission has always been to help those in need, and we are honored to partner with The Salvation Army to provide clothing to those affected by Hurricane Helene. It’s our hope that this small gesture helps lighten the burden for families as they recover from this disaster.”
