After six years of bringing clean beauty to Augusta, FIELD Botanicals will permanently close its storefront on Saturday, February 15, 2025. This decision comes after careful consideration and reflects the challenges that small businesses face today.
“Since our opening in 2018, the retail landscape has evolved dramatically, making it increasingly difficult for small, independent businesses to compete with industry giants and shifting consumer trends,” said Jennifer Tinsley, founder of FIELD Botanicals. “Despite our best efforts to adapt, we have made the difficult decision to close the store. This decision reflects the best path forward for the business and my personal journey.”

FIELD Botanicals was a pioneer in the clean beauty movement, offering a curated selection of vegan and cruelty-free beauty products from independently owned brands. Committed to promoting sustainability and efficacy in the clean beauty category, Tinsley was presented the Beacon Award for Small Retailer of the Year in 2022.
As FIELD Botanicals bids farewell to both its physical space and its e-commerce site fieldbotanicals.com, Tinsley remains committed to supporting the local business community. “I plan to continue championing our fellow downtown businesses and supporting them through volunteer efforts.”
All announcements can be found on the brand’s Instagram page @fieldbotanicals. Closeout sales for any remaining inventory will begin on Saturday, February 1, and continue until the final day of Saturday, February 15.
A sale of remaining fixtures and miscellaneous retail display items will take place from February 17 to 21. Prior to that, interested parties may visit the store during regular business hours to obtain more information on available fixtures.
