Unique food concepts set to open on Washington Road

Next month, a pair of new food concepts are opening in the “heartland” of Augusta on Washington Road in the Washington Crossing shopping center. Zen Ramen will open in the former Zoe’s Kitchen building, followed by  Fresh Take Grocery.  Fresh Take Grocery is in the former Whole Foods complex and will offer experiential shopping to include traditional supermarket services in a café setting with various serving stations and different activities during and after dining or shopping. The Fluor Foundation’s Military Support Coalition has awarded the Aiken Technical College Foundation a grant to continue support for student veterans with the cost of attendance and living expenses. “We are thankful for the Fluor Foundation’s ongoing support of our student veterans.
