There were several key developments on the status of the new arena being constructed—including an update on the use of James Brown in the final naming rights. The new General Manager for the Augusta Entertainment Complex (AEC) was introduced at this month’s regular meeting of the Augusta-Richmond County Coliseum Authority. Simon Says: CSRA economy dips in April

There is a lot of uncertainty and volatility in the economy at the moment, and that can also be seen in the local data. The Augusta Leading Economics Index (LEI) fell 3.8 percent in April from March, but increased 0.6 percent on a three-month moving average.
