ANWA Golf Star helps train 70 CSRA children

17-year-old Asterisk Talley (above), who led this weekend’s Augusta National Women’s Amateur tournament, was one of eight current or legendary female golfers to help kids with golf lessons and life skills, while in town. About 15 different sponsors kicked in money to cover many of the expenses incurred by two different non-profits at yesterday’s 30th Annual Triple Crown Golf Classic at Woodside Country Club. In keeping with the “30” theme, Aiken Regional Medical Center sponsored the hole-in-one competitions, which featured two $15,000 prizes.
