Border Bash adds to its fan experience this year

This year’s annual Border Bash will be more interactive than ever before.

The 29th Annual Border Bash will be held on Sept. 16 at SRP Park in North Augusta, and this year will include a FanFest where fans can test their skills in various events. More bands have been added this year as well. Headlining the party is Coach, with performances from the Greg Hester Band, Black Dawg, and Rattlesnake Cobra Awesome, with special guest appearances by Joe Stevenson, Ryan Abel, and Jaycie Ward.

Also performing during the evening will be Augusta West Dance and the cheerleaders and mascots from USC and Georgia. A fireworks show will cap the evening.

Border Bash celebrates the football rivalry between border state schools – the University of South Carolina and the University of Georgia – while supporting CSRA children’s charities and clubs. Over the years, The Border Bash Foundation has contributed more than $941,000 to worthwhile causes across the area.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Border Bash Foundation to once again host Border Bash at SRP Park,” stated GreenJackets Vice President, Tom Denlinger. “This event is a community staple and we look forward to growing this festival and packing SRP Park.”

It is the third year for the event at SRP Park.

Tickets are available online at BorderBash.net and GreenjacketsBaseball.com. Parking can also be purchased in advance.
