CSRA SHRM chapter to host a legislative panel at this week’s meeting

With midterm elections only three months away, the CSRA SHRM Chapter will provide important information for local business owners by hosting a legislative panel this week. The meeting will be held on Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Enterprise Mill Events Center located at 1450 Greene St., Suite 600 in Augusta. Augusta ranks high for women-owned businesses

Women-owned businesses are on the rise across the country — but there’s always room for even more growth. $20,000 donation helps job skills training program keep running

Last year, 40 people graduated from the Salvation Army Kroc Center’s Job Skills Training Program, and of those, 80 percent found immediate employment, according to Chris Bailey.
