Downtown businesses win holiday decorations contest

After all the votes were counted, Tiffinie Bleu Bridal Boutique was selected as the winner of the People’s Choice Award for her business’s window display in the fourth annual Making Spirits Bright Downtown Decor Crawl.

This year, 32 businesses throughout downtown Augusta participated in the month-long event, sponsored by the Downtown Development Authority of Augusta and Augusta & Co.

“I had such a fun time planning and decorating for the Décor Crawl,” said Brandy Gibson, owner of Tiffinie Bleu. “It was really nice that people appreciated it in choosing my shop for the People’s Choice Award.”

Alter’D Salon and Spa and 10Twenty-Eight, both located on Broad Street, won honorable mention.

Founded in 2014, Tiffinie Bleu sells a wide range of designer wedding gowns. In June 2021, Gibson moved her shop from Monte Sano Avenue to a 5,000-square-foot building located at 1251 Broad St.

“I look forward to decorating next year and continuing participation with my fellow downtown neighbors,” she said.
