Custom golf cart business to launch in Evans

If you’ve ever wanted to build your own custom golf cart, you’re in luck. Kart King, LLC located at 4158 Washington Road, Suite 11 next door to Just Beds in the Park Place 2 shopping center, is scheduled to open around Nov. 16, according to its owner, Barry Hall. Besides golf carts, the new store will offer a variety of accessories, such as LED lights, custom tires, and sound bars. Businesses help celebrate It’s Spooky To Be Hungry’s 30th year with fundraising

What began in the early 1990’s as a food drive in a Minnesota neighborhood by a former Augusta resident has evolved into a major community fundraising campaign in her hometown that feeds hundreds of thousands of hungry families annually. Simon Says: Labor Force Shrinks in CSRA

Job openings for Georgia and South Carolina in August were released last week. In Georgia, they fell 11 percent but in South Carolina, they fell just 1 percent. There are still over two job openings for every unemployed worker in Georgia and South Carolina. These job openings numbers impacted the Augusta Leading Economic Index which fell 0.9 percent in August, from July.
