Some television and radio stations have had to lay off employees in the last several months. One local radio station group just came up with a unique way to save money and space.
Beasley Broadcasting, home to popular stations such as WGAC and Kicks 99, decided it didn’t need all of the 20,000 square feet it was occupying at 4051 Jimmie Dyess Parkway near the I-20 Belair Road Exit.
Now, when visitors stop by for tickets or an appointment, they’ll enter the building from the back—where the studio space is located.
