CSRA builders and associates reel in Stellar Awards

The Home Builders Association of the Greater Aiken-Augusta Region and the Sales and Marketing Council recently hosted the 2023 Stellar Awards presented by Colony Bank and D.R. Horton.

The three most prestigious awards presented recognized some familiar names.

The Community Service Award- SMC Member (Sales and Marketing Committee) to Angela Sorapuru-Lopez, with RE/MAX True Advantage. Angela has given her skills, resources, money, and most importantly, time to so many organizations including ReStart Augusta, and was named 2023 Realtor of the Year.

The Community Service Award- Builder to Matt and Mark Ivey, with Ivey Homes. This Community Service Builder Award is to recognize Builders for their dedication to giving back to the community in which they build. In 2021, they created their very own charity initiative aimed at enriching and expanding their giveback to the community.

The Builder Executive of the Year has been in this industry for 20 years, building currently in five award-winning communities across Georgia and South Carolina, involved with many organizations, and has given over $150,000 to local Augusta area charities. The 2023 Builder Executive of the Year was awarded to Matt Ivey, with Ivey Homes.

The Home Builders Association of the Greater Aiken-Augusta Region is a non-profit trade organization dedicated to creating and promoting an ongoing successful environment for housing on behalf of its members and the community.
