If connecting with your customers on social media has been a challenge, the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center may have just the class you need.
On Thursday, June 8, the SBDC, in partnership with the Thomson-McDuffie Chamber of Commerce, will host a free Digital Marketing Bootcamp from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Thomson Depot, located at 111 Railroad St. in Thomson. The in-person course will cover a variety of topics, such as marketing strategy, social media marketing, and designing effective websites.
Founded in 1977, the Center has 18 offices throughout the state, including one on Professional Parkway in Augusta. It offers in-person and online training on many business topics, including starting a business, marketing, writing business plans, and mastering QuickBooks.
