Starting tomorrow, some of the 6,000 visitors will make their way to Augusta for an annual conference that keeps growing to keep up with the changing Cyber scene.
TechNet officially launches Monday in downtown Augusta at the Augusta Marriott, Augusta Convention Center, and the Cyber Center. It concludes at the end of next week.
According to event information, TechNet Augusta 2026 brings together military leaders, government officials, academic researchers, and commercial technology providers to address pressing challenges in cyber electromagnetic activities and unified land operations. With support from the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence and Augusta University, the event reflects the growing recognition that modern warfighting effectiveness depends on seamless collaboration between defense organizations and private sector innovators.
The event draws participation from major defense technology firms including Cisco, Accenture Federal Services, Leidos, Parsons, General Dynamics Mission Systems, Peraton, and Microsoft. Additional sponsors and exhibitors span the defense industrial base, with representation from AMD, Booz Allen Hamilton, CDW, CrowdStrike, IBM, Keysight, NTT Data, SAIC, ServiceNow, Dell, ManTech, Fortinet, VMware, Akamai, and Nokia among others.
This is the 13th annual conference held in Augusta, and Destination Augusta says there will be an economic impact on our area of more than $3.5 million.
