Early next year, Chad Harpley will move his company to a new 14,000-square-foot facility in Augusta, and 2,500 square feet of that space is currently available for lease.
Harpley – President and Chief Executive Officer of Premier Networx – is relocating his information technology and cybersecurity firm from its current address at 4332 Wheeler Road #105 to 116 Cooper Drive off Riverwatch Parkway next door to Elegant Bridals. He says the building, which is currently under construction, is scheduled to open Jan. 3. “It’s a state-of-the-art cybersecurity center,” Harpley states. Designed by Dickinson Architects, the new building will include a technical operations center, 30-person education center, boardroom, and administrative offices, as well as an employee patio. Harpley explains he’s currently looking for companies interested in leasing space in the center. “We’re just looking for businesses period, not necessarily cybersecurity” businesses, Harpley says.
Davis Beman – Vice President and Director of commercial real estate for Blanchard and Calhoun Real Estate Co. – says the space can accommodate one or two businesses that will complement Premier Networx. “We can divide it into two suites,” says Beman. “It’s a great space.” The cost will be more than $20 per square foot plus expenses and buildout, but that’s negotiable. “What we’re looking for is an office setting or retail tenant,” Beman states. He says the space would be ideal for a financial institution, insurance agency, or similar business. “It’s a phenomenal location,” Beman adds.
