Local business owners hit hole-in-one with tournament-themed gifts

In March, Randall and Julie Williams had their most profitable month ever, thanks to their collection of tournament-themed products.

The couple owns Augusta Gift Baskets, which sells custom gift baskets and boxes for various occasions, including births, birthdays, and real estate closings.

“We feature locally produced items in every one of our baskets and boxes,” Randall said. “That’s something people really like.”

These items are supplied by many CSRA businesses, including Watanut, Ubora Coffee Roasters, and La Bonbonniere. The Augusta Gift Baskets tournament collection offers customizable baskets and boxes that contain an assortment of items, such as coffee, cookies, nuts, and candy, as well as Augusta Magazine’s Tournament Guide.

“Businesses will want to put their company swag in the box or basket to give it that custom corporate flair,” he said.

The couple sent their products to several local hotels to give to their Masters guests. People renting out their homes this week have also bought them.

“We did something similar last year, and we’ll do something similar next year; we like to change it up,” Randall said. “People like to give something that represents the tournament year-round.”

Their tournament-themed baskets and boxes range in price from $80 to $190. For more information or to place an order, visit augustagiftbaskets.com/collections/tournament.
