To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Hannah Barrs has developed an event that incorporates shopping, mimosas, flowers, and chocolate-covered strawberries.
Barrs, Marketing Director of Timms Harley-Davidson of Augusta, has planned Kickstart Your Heart, which will be held next Saturday, Feb. 11, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the dealership located at 4200 Belair Frontage Road in Augusta.
The event will feature deals, such as buy two, get one free on men’s and women’s apparel, and 20 percent off all full-priced jewelry. They will also have a game that will involve guessing the number of Hershey’s Kisses in a jar; the person who comes the closest without going over will win a gift basket.
“Other dealers have used that name,” she said. “It’s catchy and cute for Valentine’s Day while still applying to motorsports.”
Barrs said the dealership hosts a Valentine’s Day shopping event every year, but this is the first year they’ve hosted this type of event.
“This year is all about making it better,” she said.
While Kickstart Your Heart will last all day, mimosas and strawberries will only be available between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., and flowers will be given to all the ladies while supplies last.
