Local gym to launch new Columbia County location in January

Editor’s Note: As 2022 begins, ABD wanted to provide an update on a story we brought you in June about Endurance Fitness.

A CSRA fitness center is very close to opening a second location in Evans just in time for people to begin pursuing their New Year’s resolutions.

Cliff and Amanda Jennings – owners of Endurance Fitness – currently operate a gym at 125 Merovan Drive in North Augusta. The Evans location is at 4099 Riverwatch Parkway near the Old Evans Road intersection (see photo above).

In the previous story, we reported the couple had hoped to open the gym in September. According to a gym representative, it will open in the next couple of weeks. She says they are waiting for the certificate of occupancy. The construction crews overseen by Blanchard and Calhoun Commercial Real Estate continue to work on the façade and the aesthetics of the center.

Check Endurance’s Facebook page for further updates.

Endurance Fitness offers 60-minute, high-intensity circuit training classes taught by personal trainers at various times throughout the day. They have classes for both children and adults. “We can modify it for any fitness level,” says Cliff in a June interview with ABD. “You’ll never do the same workout twice.” Some classes focus on strength, while others emphasize total body fitness. Classes start as early as 5 a.m. and as late as 6:30 p.m. The gym also offers its members other services, such as fitness assessments, nutritional coaching, and childcare.
