Local Home Healthcare Provider wins statewide award

Nuclear Care Partners was recently honored as one of only two Home Healthcare Providers in the state to be recognized as Best of South Carolina 2025 in the Guide to South Carolina.  The agency has played a big part in helping Savannah River Site employees recover from major illnesses and ailments.

The local staff is in Aiken at 933 Dougherty Road and services the entire state of South Carolina and Georgia. There is also a satellite office in Augusta.

Nuclear Care Partners is in its 15th year of providing our nation’s atomic heroes with in-home medical care.

With an estimated 600,000 workers having served at more than 300 nuclear sites nationwide, including those at the SRS, Nuclear Care Partners has developed innovative programs like BreathBetter and Kidney Care, offering customized solutions as unique as the lives they support.

“It’s a privilege to serve the heroes of our nation’s nuclear legacy. We don’t just provide care, we build lasting relationships, grounded in respect, gratitude, and heart.” — Lance Danko, South Carolina & Georgia Branch Administrator

Today, that mission reaches across the U.S., serving thousands of former atomic workers with compassionate, nurse-led care, delivered in the comfort of their homes. As a Department of Labor-enrolled provider under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA), Nuclear Care Partners is one of the leaders in providing support, advocacy, and connection that extends beyond the boundaries of traditional healthcare.

Nuclear Care Partners also won ‘Best Nursing Staff” and “Best In-Home Care Provider” in the Aiken Standard’s 2025 Top Docs competition.

If you or someone you know may qualify for support through the EEOICPA, contact their local branch at 803-560-0100 or visit www.nuclearcarepartners.com.
