The fastest growing car dealership in the CSRA is looking “down the road” for its’ next brand. Jordan Trotter Commercial Real Estate represented the Jim Hudson Automotive Group in purchasing about 4.5 acres of land on Washington Road between Warren Road and Kings Chapel and a small parcel of land on Warren Road.
Jim Hudson Automotive paid $2.2 million for 3.82 acres on 3140 Washington Road and $250,000 for .59 acres on 107 Warren Road.
“That is a piece of property that Mr. Hudson purchased because it was for sale. Land on Washington Road is hard to come by and this was something he purchased in case we ever needed it,” said Josh Waters, Director of Public Relations for the Jim Hudson Automotive Group in Georgia and South Carolina.

While other car dealers have been trying to locate automobiles and trucks to sell during the supply chain crunch caused by Covid—Jim Hudson Automotive has been expanding onto Washington Road.
The group moved its flagship Lexus Brand further down Washington Road, purchased the Acura brand, and moved it onto the original Lexus property.
Jim Hudson also purchased the Infiniti dealership near Pleasant Home Road and in early 2022 converted an old BP Gas station into a pre-owned car lot.

What’s next for Jim Hudson? Rumors have been flying since the Johnson Motor Company gave up it’s Cadillac franchise after deciding not to retrofit their Walton Way location to go all-electric.
Jim Hudson is a Cadillac franchise in Columbia, South Carolina. Since then, ABD’s repeatedly asked Jim Hudson Automotive about interest in becoming the Cadillac franchisee in Augusta and Waters has denied any communications with Cadillac Corporate on behalf of Mr. Hudson.
And as for the newly acquired parcels of land on Washington and Warren Roads……
“At this time there are no plans to put anything on it,” added Waters.
