More than 80 employers hiring at Fort Eisenhower career fair

The annual Hiring Our Heroes Career Summit and job fair for military-connected job seekers starts tomorrow, June 27, at the Eisenhower Catering and Conference Center.

More than 80 employers are looking to fill 100,000+ positions in the industries of cybersecurity/IT, defense contracting, administration and general management, and project management.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes and the Fort Eisenhower Transition Assistance Program (TAP) hosts the event and while the hiring fair is primarily intended for military members transitioning out of the service and military spouses, it’s open to anyone in the CSRA.

From 9:00 am until noon, attendees will learn about Skillbridge, a DOD program that partners with industries in a variety of fields to offer training and work experience in high-demand jobs. The morning session will also offer insider tips from hiring managers and recruiters, upskilling and reskilling, and the best way to utilize LinkedIn.

The job fair begins at 1:00 pm. Perspective attendees are asked to register for the summit in advance via the Hiring Our Heroes site: https://www.hiringourheroes.org/event-registration

Those without a DOD ID Card can stop by the Gate 6 Visitor Center on the morning of the event to request a pass for access to the installation and the hiring event.

The opening ceremony will be live-streamed on the Fort Eisenhower Garrison Facebook page at approximately 9:00 am at https://www.facebook.com/forteisenhower

ABD requested a full list of employers who will attend the job fair which is shown below.
