The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce is giving you the opportunity to meet business leaders and learn more about their achievements.
The Chamber will celebrate its 18th Annual Banquet on Thursday, Feb. 2 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Columbia County Exhibition Center in Grovetown. The event will include a business showcase, an awards presentation, and a guest speaker, Mike Goodwin, the Bowtie Comedian.
“Elevate is the theme for the Chamber’s Annual Banquet,” said President and CEO, Russell Lahodny. “This is a great opportunity to get to know the leaders in the business community and share a few laughs.”
This event will also give attendees the opportunity to hear from the Chamber’s new Board Chair, Wendy Perry, co founder of Katalis, a local executive development firm.
Perry is excited and humbled at the opportunity to speak at the event and to lead the Chamber in 2023.
“My goal is to lay the pillars for success. I will be outlining ideas for collaboration, strategy, and utilizing resources to help us move forward,” Perry explained.
As an Army veteran, Perry also looks to help active-duty soldiers transition into entrepreneur roles. She believes there are many resources throughout the CSRA which can come together to accomplish those goals.
Businesses participating in the showcase will include Veterans Pressure Washing, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and SRP Federal Credit Union.
