Many people rely on a jolt of caffeine to get them going in the morning, but a new coffee shop in Columbia County is giving them the chance to win free java for a year.
The giveaway is to celebrate the grand opening of a new Dunkin’ location at 5120 Washington Road in the Eclipse at Riverwood shopping center in Evans, which will be held today from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The store opened in late October, according to the franchise owner, Peter Patel.
“We’re excited for our guests and having a brand new store in the area,” Patel said.
The new store is the 11th location in the Augusta area owned by Peter and his business partners, Sam and AJ. Other CSRA locations include Peach Orchard Road, Walton Way, South Belair Road, and Wheeler Road. He said they also own a location in Columbia. The first 100 guests in line at 9 a.m. today will receive coupons for one free coffee drink each week for a year.
The store is open Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more information, call 706-303-4045.
