New Columbia County studio offers amazing eyelashes to its clients

A new Evans business is devoted to helping its clients have the best-looking eyelashes in town.

Amazing Lash Studio, located in the Legacy Building at 444 North Belair Road, Suite 102, celebrated its soft launch on Friday, June 10. The business provides eyelash extensions in various styles performed by trained stylists and sells add-ons, such as sleeping eye masks, makeup cleansers, and oil-free mascara.

Prior to the initial treatment, clients meet with a lash consultant who helps them choose the perfect style. Amazing Lash Studio uses a GlamCam app that shows clients what they would look like with each style.

“We have to make sure our clients are comfortable and trust their stylists,” said Susan Dilworth, Marketing and Brand Communication Director.

Comfort is important because the first appointment lasts at least two hours and refills typically take 45 minutes to one hour. The business provides pillows and allows clients to take “lash naps.” To help clients relax, Zen music is played in each room.

Eyelash extensions are attached to clients’ existing lashes with an adhesive, and a sealant is used to hold them in place. When natural eyelashes fall out, so do the extensions, which is why people need replacements.

“We are a membership-based studio,” Dilworth said.

As of Friday, June 10, she said 30 people had already signed up for memberships, which provide significant savings on services and retail products. For example, a full set replacement costs $109.99 for members and $169.99 for non-members.

Members can also visit any Amazing Lash Studio nationwide, and memberships can be canceled anytime.

Evans is the first of 10 franchise locations that owner Dr. Nadine Pulling plans to open in Georgia and South Carolina. Future locations include Conyers and the Inman Park neighborhood in Atlanta. Pulling is also considering opening an Aiken location.

Dilworth said the Evans location has received a great response so far.

“Professional females have been waiting for this,” she said. “Young professional women are our target group.”

To meet the increasing demand for services, the Evans location is hiring stylists. Pulling and her staff look forward to becoming part of the local community. They will have a booth at the Charlie Puth concert on June 28 at Evans Towne Center Park.

Dilworth said they also want to partner with other local businesses, such as hair and nail salons.

“We’re really looking forward to working with complementary businesses in the community,” she said.

The official grand opening will be held one weekend in October, but dates haven’t been determined yet. The weekend will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tent party. Amazing Lash Studio will also be a Guitar Pull ticket stop.

Founded in Houston in 2010, the company has more than 270 locations nationwide. For more information, visit amazinglashstudio.com/studios/ga/evans/evans.
